News that the first Westbeach Snowflex Freestyle Championships have attracted international interest with major new sponsors from Europe.
The next event in the series is taking place at Dorset Snowsport Centre (dorsetsnowsportcentre.co.uk) on Saturday 16th June. On this day a Spanish ski company named Skimaster Adventure are sending a professional sponsored skier, Javi Vega and one pro snowboarder, David Vicente. In addition to riding at Warmwell, these two athletes will judge for a spot prize of a free weekend in Spain (during July) at the Segovia Water Jump, incl. flights, hotel, 6 hours training on the water jump, 4 hrs on trampoline supervised by the Spanish Olympic Freestyle Coach, Alfredo Naranjo. Check out the link on Skimaster's front page (Verano 2007: Camps Freestyle). Javi Vega who is competing at Warmwell, will also be supervising in Segovia.
Skimasteradventure (skimasteradventure.com) will also be backing the series with 500 Euros for the NLM event in France.
With all that plus all this Snoworld the Portuguese agents for Snowflex have announced they are to support the series with some serious money. They will be putting up 1500 Euros in cash to the total prize purse at the grand final at Nœux Les Mines Stadt de Glisse (France 20th October).
