Sun and snow at Mt Hutt for Opening Day

Around 350 people enjoyed sun, snow and fun at Mt Hutt yesterday (June 13) as the popular Canterbury ski area opened for the 2007 season.

Ski area manager Dave Wilson and mountain manager James McKenzie poured Lindauer bubbly for the early birds.

“It was a whole heap of fun with lots of people turning up for the first runs of the season and a really nice atmosphere.”
